MedMassagers are available in 110/120V 60Hz and 220/240V 50Hz models.

For the average physical therapist who uses the MedMassager on patients daily, the device lasts for up to 10 years! The lifespan of your MedMassager will depend on your usage amount. For an extra peace of mind, we also offer extended warranty plans at checkout.

We recommend moving the MedMassager slowly to get the best result in circulation, especially in sore areas. Aim for 12 inches of movement every 3 seconds.

We do not recommend using the MedMassager on the face, back, or top of the head. Be sure to use caution if you have a pacemaker or medical conditions that affect a particular part of the body.

Our focus when designing and building your massager is to ensure safe, reliable performance from your massage equipment. However, accidents do happen and to that end, we cannot warranty failures due to abuse, misuse, accident, natural disasters, unauthorized alteration, repairs or modifications. The warranty also does not cover any accessories purchased for your massager.

If you decide to sell your unit during the warranty period, the remainder of the extended warranty may be transferred to the new owner by notifying MedMassager in writing. Such notifications must include complete address information for both the original owner and the new buyer.

Every unit includes a 1-year full replacement warranty at no additional charge. Plan upgrades are available here

We suggest using anti-bacterial baby wipes or any other non-bleach cleaner.

Yes. We recommend using a 300W power inverter to with a power interruption switch for either the foot or body massager. Use safety caution when using any MedMassager device while in a vehicle.

The MedMassager does not create artificial heat, though you may feel a warm sensation in the areas of use from increased blood circulation.

The foot massager is able to withstand up to 600lbs of pressure if placing the feet or calves on the massager. The MedMassager is not designed to be stood on, and standing on the devices will cause irreversible damage that will void any warranty.

We recommend that you switch your MedMassager device off and unplug it from the wall whenever not in use.

The MedMassager has a unique 6 foot design to allow stability and traction while in use, as well as a special curved design that allows the massager to rock back and forth for a better massage experience. The “Arch Bar” is specifically designed to massage the inside of your foot's arch when using barefoot. This addition provides direct stimulation to the plantar tendon and can help alleviate the pain and foot cramps associated with plantar fasciitis. In addition, the arch bar can also be used to massage the bottom of your toes and for direct stimulation of the heels.

MedMassagers are FDA certified as “medical massagers for physical medicine” which is a Class I (minimal risk) device and is exempt from FDA approval measures.

When turned off, the MedMassager foot massager remains in stand-by mode to allow immediate use on any power level, from 1-11. We recommend that you unplug the device from the wall outlet when not in use.

Although all levels of intensity on the MedMassager are safe, you should use caution and consult a doctor if you're prone to blood clotting or have internal devices such as a pacemaker.

It is not recommended to cross your legs while using the MedMassager foot massager. Putting pressure on the back of the knee of the crossover leg can negatively effect circulation.

Oscillations are circular movements as opposed to up and down vibrating movements of less complex massage devices. The oscillating movement stimulates the circulation with a smoother, more comfortable method which in turn relaxes the muscles as circulation is increased.

Yes, but if you are using compression socks due to being prone to blood clots we do not recommend using the MedMassager on your legs.

The stimulation of the MedMassager is stronger without shoes or socks, but you will get an increase in circulation either way. We recommend to find what's most comfortable for yourself.

MedMassagers can be effective to help relieve pain and discomfort from arthritis and muscle spasms in large mammals such as dogs, horses, and cows. Consult your veterinarian before attempting to use at home medical devices on your animal.

While you can use the MedMassager devices several times a day, the body massager can should only be used for up to 30 minutes at a time, and no more than 15 minutes at a time in a single area. The foot massager can be used for up to 30 minutes at a time.

MedMassager does not recommend using any of our massage devices below the knees for anyone with the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, open sores or very thin fragile skin. However, an excellent indirect treatment is using the MedMassager foot massaging to help stimulate blood flow and reduce swelling.

Typically, using the MedMassager body massager on both legs or using the foot massager at a medium speed will help relieve your restless leg syndrome.

Diabetes is a serious disease that needs to be monitored by your medical doctor. We strongly urge you to speak to your provider before attempting treatments such as medical massages.

Depending on your plan, private insurance may reimburse you for all or part of the purchase of the massager, typically dependent on a specific medical condition and doctors recommendation deeming medical massagers necessary. Medicare does not cover MedMassager devices at this time.

Tissue inflammation is caused by an irritant from pain, infection, or swelling. The MedMassager helps reduce swelling and relax the muscles, breaking the pain cycle.

Though the American Diabetes Association doesn't endorse specific medical devices, the MedMassager team has been involved with the ADA for many years in research, advocacy and the support of therapeutic treatment. 

Plantar fasciitis can take several weeks to resolve whether using the MedMassager or receiving professional clinical treatment. Treating at home is more cost efficient in the long run and much more convenient. Make sure you review the “Advanced Techniques” in our user manual.

Coumadin is a blood thinner that can leave the body at greater risk of bruising and bleeding, so we recommend that you always consult with a doctor before using a medical massage device on the body.

We recommend speaking to your doctor before using the MedMassager on your spider veins, as severity can depend patient by patient. However, if you're able to use the MedMassager, patients often see great results as it works to restore circulation in the feet and legs while stimulating blood flow.

Paraneoplastic pemphigus is a serious condition usually manifesting in cancer patients, causing blisters on the skin. We don’t recommend any cancer patients to use the MedMassager due to potential complications as well as the breakage of skin blisters risking infection.

The MedMassager aides in relaxing muscle spasms caused by MS, temporarily decreasing pain and discomfort.

FMS is a complex and often unpredictable nerve and muscle condition that is believed to be caused by a hypersensitivity of the nerves that results in pain and muscle spasms. The MedMassager devices are helpful for reducing pain and muscle spasms, but differ patient by patient in what feels best for their body. Patients often find success in treating the thighs, hamstring, shoulder blades, and along the spine.

The discoloration in your lower leg is from of iron leaking from the leg veins into the surrounding tissues, caused by poor circulation or also called peripheral vascular disease (PVD). The MedMassager helps stimulate blood circulation and therefore can help reduce this discoloration.

Every patient's condition can differ, but many people who try the MedMassager are able to regain some feeling in their feet. The oscillating nature of the massaging effect tends to reduce the swelling in your feet which prompts nerve improvement.

Your doctor is the most reliable source when deciding whether to use any additional medical devices, since neuropathic patients overall conditions can differ. Since MedMassager is an oscillating machine, we recommend speaking to your doctor about whether the device is appropriate for you.

Joints that are worn down by arthritis become unstable, putting your muscles, tendons, and ligaments in an abnormal position that causes inflammation and irritation in the tissue. The MedMassager helps stimulate swollen areas to give temporary relief to arthritic pain.

Achilles tendon tears for active individuals as they get older. Unfortunately, aging tendons tend to have less elasticity and are more prone to tears that remain tight even after surgical procedures. The MedMassager helps relax the tendon and reduce tightness and sore pain.

Tension headaches are caused by tight muscles in the shoulders and back of the neck, often an area that is sore for those even without pain. You can relax these muscles and reduce intense headaches by massaging the tender point of both sides of the neck.

This is a state of intense pain typically caused by muscle-spasms in the lower back. The muscles are tightened and lactic acid builds up, causing irritation and repeated spasms. The MedMassager helps dilate blood vessels, allowing for internal tissue cleansing and reduction in muscle pain.

Typically, compression fractures are a result of osteoporosis of the spinal column or via a traumatic injury. We recommend speaking with your doctor before beginning any at home massage treatment and avoid massaging directly over the spine.

We recommend speaking with your doctor before using any device post-surgery. Typically, it's best to let the bones and tissues in the neck heal for at least 6 months before beginning at home massage treatment.

When first using the MedMassager you may experience irritation caused by release of the built-up lactic acid within inactive muscles. If it begins to worsen, we recommend to stop using the MedMassager and speak to a medical provider.

The MedMassager foot massager can give relief of pain and inflammation for bunions and any other arthritic condition. However, we recommend speaking with a podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon to give you a proper long term treatment plan.

There is no medical evidence of any massage technique being linked to weight loss. However, the MedMassager stimulates the cells of the tissues to be more efficient in absorbing fluids and can potentially help with loss of water weight.

Yes, the body massager is safe to use during your menstrual cycle. Many women find relief of their cramping pain by stimulating the lower back and the tummy area, depending on each individuals comfort levels.

We don't recommend that pregnant women use the MedMassager due to risks of complications in the uterus and an increased risk of blood clots.

 

We do not recommend using any form of massage device over areas that are prone to blood clots. Always consult a doctor before attempting at home treatment if you suffer from blood clotting.

Both MedMassager devices are safe to use with MS or Parkinson's. With both conditions , however, the level of comfort will depend on the severity of each individual patients symptoms.

Since a pacemaker is an electrical device, the MedMassager should not be used in the area of the pacemaker to prevent any jostling of pacemaker itself. There are no electrical waves produced by the MedMassager.

Many improvements to the design and functionality of our massagers come from practical, real-world suggestions from our valued customers, such as yourself.

You may return your MedMassager unit within 30 days of purchase unopened and unused for a full refund. For units that have been used, we charge a 15% fee.

Our MedMassager units are personal-use items and cannot be resold as new once opened. As such, a full refurbishment is required by our engineering team on all opened and returned goods. You may return a used device for a refund up to 30 days after purchase for a 15% fee.
